The NPSF is interested in trying to track and record the number of suicides that are occurring within our Law Enforcement Family to bring about a greater awareness of the seriousness of this issue. If your agency has an officer that commits suicide or you hear of an officer from another agency that has committed suicide , please let us know. NOTE: this document is a “blind form”. If you are an officer or agency who has been issued a “gag order”, this form is a safe reporting mechanism. When you fill out this form and hit “send”, the document arrives in our email with UnknownSender@unknown domain” as the source. This provides agencies and officers with a confidentiality promise. Please include the deceased officer’s name so that we can validate information for accurate tracking.
